In this tutorial, you will learn how to create the colorway range, which could include both placeholders and colorways, for your catalog in T1 Studio Web. 

Sign in to T1 Studio Web

To sign in to T1 Studio Web, first, you need to open your designated T1 Studio Web link and follow the below steps:

  1. Enter your username then click Next
  2. Enter the password, then click the Sign in button. If you have more than one user account, they are listed and you can select the one you want, otherwise, the catalog selection page opens. 

Note:

  • In case you forgot your password, you can click the respective link below the password field, the following fields appears:
  1. Enter the secret code you recieved on your email, 
  2. Enter the new password, 
  3. Click Set Password.

Open catalog

To open the catalog, click its card, the following window appears, depending on the catalog configuration, to help you select the customer and price groups:

  1. Select the customer account for which you want to open the catalog, 
  2. Select the values for the price groups. The above slider, Use the price groups assigned to the customer, only appears if you are a seller or admin. More information is available in Open catalog
  3. Click Open catalog.

Create the range

Creating the catalog range can be done in different ways. You can create single style or colorway, copy existing style, or import colorways. 

Create style/colorway

To add a style to the catalog then assign colorways to it, follow these steps:

  1. Click + as shown below:
  1. Click  Add new style then click Next, the following window appears depending on the attributes configured at the catalog level:
  1. Enter the style name,
  2. Fill the prices and the attribute values you want. Please note that prices should have a value greater than zero, fields marked with * are mandatory, 
  3. Click Next, the following window appears:
  1. Enter the number of colorways to be created for the periods defined for the selected catalog,
  2. Click Next, the following window appears:
  1. Enter the colorway attribute value(s), you can click the checkbox next to the attribute to copy the value enetered in the first record to all records, or click the checkbox next to “Apply same attribute for all colorway” to copy the entered value of all the seasonal attributes to all colorways,
  2. Click the add button, placeholders are added as shown in the below example:
  1. Click Next, Colorways are created with a placeholder image and the number given to the placeholder is indicated with -P01, -P02. Once a color is assigned to the placeholder, placeholder name changes to include the color code, e.g. 12345678-000. You can assign a primary color to the placeholder as mentioned in Assign color

Copy existing style

You can also copy a style from current or previous seasons. Style attributes are copied to the newly created style. You can create multiple copies of the style. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click the style you want to copy, then select Copy style as shown below:

The following window appears:

Source style name and source style number are displayed and cannot be edited. Attribute values and prices are copied and can be updated.

  1. Enter the style name and the number of copies to be created, 
  2. Update any of the displayed values, if you want, 
  3. Click Next to select the number of colorways to be created for each period:
  1. Enter the number of placeholders to be created for each period defined for the selected catalog then click Next, the following window appears to enable you to enter the colorway attributes:

This window changes as per the number of placeholders you are creating. 

  1. Select the period, retail intro month, and retail exit month, if you want to change them, you can click the checkbox next to the field name, the same value is reflected on all placeholders,
  2. Select the seasonal attribute values, you can click the checkbox next to the attribute to copy the value enetered in the first record to all records, or click the checkbox next to “Apply same attribute for all colorways” to copy the entered value of all the seasonal attributes to all colorways,
  3. Enter the color fields values, 
  4. Click the add button, placeholders are created with suffix -P01, -P02 and so on.
  5. Click Next

Import colorways

You can import a file with multiple colorways to save the time and effort needed to add colorways to the catalog. To import a list of colorways, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Admin module on the left side, as shown below:
  1. Click the Import colorways button, the following window appears:
  1. Click browse or drag and drop the file you want to import,
  2. Select the file then click Open, the name of the file you selected appears in its field, click Next
  3. Select the sheet you want, click Next, the following window appears:
  1. Select the column of the sheet that matches each field, you can search for the field you want using the search field, then click Next, the following window appears:
  1. Select whether you want to import all rows, or rows that match certain criteria, a validation window appears informing you if records are valid or not, if not, you need to fix the sheet then import the file again,
  2. Click Next, the following window appears:

The validation window shows the status of the import process, the total number of valid rows, and the total number of invalid and skipped rows.

Note:

  • If there is an error in the imported sheet, such as emty field for a mandatory attribute, the validation window above shows an error. You need to make the required changes and import the sheet again by following the steps mentioned above.  
 
  1. Click Next then Import, the progress is displayed within the Notifications module. Refresh the page to load the imported colorways.

Add colorway/placeholder to existing style

To add colorways or colorway placeholders to an existing style, follow these steps:

  1. View the style you want to add the colorways to, 
  2. Click the Add colorway button at the lower section of the window for the period you want to add the colorway, as shown in the below example:

When the button is clicked, you can enter the number of colorways you want to create, as shown below:

  1. Enter the number of placeholders you want to create then click the checkmark next to the field, the button changes to Edit and you can update the number,
  2. Click Save, the following window appears:
  1. Select the period if you want to change it for the colorway, and select the retail intro month and retail exit month, if you want, you can click the checkbox on top to save the same value for all placeholders,
  2. Enter the seasonal attribute value(s), if they are configured for the selected catalog,
  3. Click the add button, colorway placeholders are added as shown in the below example:
