To generate a dynamic grid using the pivot view template, follow these steps:
- Select Dynamic grid from the toolbar, then click the board where you want to place it,
- Select Pivot view from the Template dropdown list, the following fields are displayed:

- Enter the template title,
- Select the row attribute and column attribute, if you want,
- Select the attribute based on which the colorways are sorted, you can select up to 5,
- Click the slider if you want to sort the colorways in descending order, or keep it off to sort them in ascending order,
- Select the image size,
- Enter the group title prefix, if you want,
- Select the main attribute(s) you want to display below the colorway image,
- Select the main attribute(s) you want to display inside the thumbnail if the colorway does not have an image,
- Select the variant state, if you want, to specify its properties. Colorways of the selected state will have the following properties:
- Select the attributes you want to display below the colorway image. This will replace the attributes specified above,
- Select the attribute(s) you want to display inside the colorway thumbnail if it does not have an image,
- Select the state if you want to specify its properties as listed below, or keep it empty to set the properties below for all states:
- Select the attributes you want to display for the colorway thumbnail if it does not have an image, e.g. Gender,
- Enter the value for the attribute then select the background color for the thumbnail if the colorway does not have an image, e.g. if the Gender = Boys, then the background color is blue,
- Repeat the steps above to select up to 4 values,
- Select the attribute to specify the border color (outline) if the colorway does not have an image, then enter the value you want for this attribute,
- Select the border color,
- Update the font size, if you want, for the axis label, group font, and colorway details,
- Select the spacing you want from the drop down menu,
- Click Confirm. The grid is generated as shown in the below example:
